In Gardenscapes for the iOS and Android, you live in a large city with never-ending crowds and traffic. Then you receive a letter from your great-uncle’s butler. You go there, and you’ll find it’s in serious need of renovation. To earn stars to purchase new items, you’ll have to complete match-3 levels, restore and decorate different areas. You’ll have a list of items to do, like install benches of your style and design. In the match-3 levels, you can match 4 or more to earn specific power-ups. You’ll keep playing until you’ve restored the mansion to its former glory.

THE PROS

Gardenscapes features kid-friendly cartoony graphics and familiar gameplay for anyone who’s ever played a match-3 game. This game will also run on older iOS devices. Controls are easy to pick up.

THE CONS

There aren’t any new gameplay elements to be found here, with the game’s purchase system designed to be a cash grab. Gameplay is also bland and very generic.
